Re: High Beech Sunday 24/02/19

Just arrived home after 110 mile round trip. Good to see everyone and meet some new muppets. Thanks to Motza for leading the way through the some parts of Essex that I've not travelled before. Good company and great weather. What more could you ask for.

Re: Will a 300 have enough go??

Power from the current crop of 300cc should be more than adequate for your needs. However, as others have mentioned, I strongly recommend trying for ergonomics. Of all the 300cc that I have tried for size (33-34 inseam), the only one that I found suited me was Syms Cruisym 300.

Barkbusters look to be ones to have.
Picked up the Barkbuster Blizzards earlier today and whilst they are not the rigid plastic types they are a quality piece of kit. Will fit them tomorrow and go for a little blast to see how they perform.

Re: Heated Gloves

I've got stuff like a Keiss heated jacket and inner gloves, Barkbuster Blizzard hand guards, Hein Gericke lobster claws and matching neoprene overmitts, an assortment of winter gloves, and a pair of new hand guards I'll eventually get round to fitting to my Forza. Which all seems a bit over the top...

Re: Heated Gloves

Hi road runner, I'm not sure if any Muppet has mentioned Keis heated clothing, if so, then I'll just say that I've used the same Keis X10 jacket every year for over 6 years. The kit is bike/battery powered and fantastic - they make heated gloves and boot liners too, with great flexibility from a va...

Re: Heated Gloves

Roger, I know you are not looking for heated grips...but you might like to think again if you tried my GTS with my very hot Oxfords on. You'd be welcome to do so. My grips were £79.99 reduced to £67 from Col Kawasaki with my discount card (you should still have one too) from when you bought your bi...

Re: Heated Gloves

Thanks for all the feedback folks it's very much appreciated. I revisited an option today, although not as cold as the last few days, whereby I tried my lobster claw gloves with thin fleece inner gloves. I still found this option a little bulky but did manage to operate all controls safely and after...
