It could be the clutch though 20mph sounds a bit high, did you clean the dust out of the clutch when you had it down? if you park it overnight on the main stand try using the side stand, if you do decide to clean the clutch chamfer the edges of the shoes like you would brake shoes this helps stop gr...

If you put my Xmax on the main stand and spin it up the traction control objects but turn that off and it just spins up the abs does not seem to affect it, if you try this make sure the rear wheel cant touch anything or the bike cant fall off the stand or it's going to lunch it's self. Had a listen but only thing I can hear is the exhaust, which does sound a little on the sharp side
not that I mind that. it will be interesting when you find the answer.

Just looked at mine, is there any chance it could be that little flap
just in front of the wheel maybe touching the wheel when you are 2 up?

Have look under the back of the scooter were the rear wheel is, any sign that the wheel
is touching under the seat/mudguard?
