Re: belts (again).

Most of it seems to come from the beit and especially the clutch shoes.

Re: belts (again).

A lot of clutch problems are caused by dust.

Re: New Xmax 300

Mines still on the standard seat, the 2017 ones had a different seat to the 2018 the comfort seat looks very like the 2018 seat but I have never
sat on one.

Re: belts (again).

I would, servicing tends to time as well as distance expire, I would give it a full service and
then you are set up for many miles.

Re: New Xmax 300

Xmax 300 valves, to adjust you take out the allen bolt at the chain end of the rocker shaft remove the spacer and then you can slide the rocker to the side and you can then change the shims, no need to faf with the cam shaft. https://i.postimg.cc/dkFXPSNX/XMAXvalves.jpg Just a pic of the drive belt....

Re: drive belt snapped

If it's not stuck on to firm how about one of those air duster computer cleaners,
brake cleaner may be good but be sure to lube anything that needs it as it will
be degreased, and keep all of it away from the belt and the bits it runs on.
