Re: Sym geared 125 /185 Innova style Greece

An altogether nicer new SYM is the new for 2019 SYM Joymax 300Z, I had no idea there was a newer model out until I went over to Germany last week. No doubt there'll be a YouTube clip or two on it.

Re: XMAX 300 query

What about the seat on the new 125 or 300 then? I didn't like the seat height or the hard brick like backrest of the XMax 300 at all. In contrast I find the seat on my Forza very comfortable, the seat height fine, and feet flat down is the new feet forward.

Re: Burgman 650 now Discontinued.....

Like the Silver Wing, the Burgman 650 has had it's day. When they were both introduced around 2001 they were there for maxi riders moving up from the early 250's and 400's who had a full bike licence, for auto only licence holders as one of the three or four large capacity scooters and bikes they co...

Re: Burgman 650 now Discontinued.....

I'm not surprised the 650 Burgman has finally been discontinued, it was getting long in the tooth before they gave it a cosmetic facelift around 2013. Whatever it's qualities a a mile muncher, it was always far too heavy, far too complicated, and a few well publicised reports of of expensive transmi...

Re: Zero DSR Electric Motorcycle

I doubt that very much, there's always been this NIMBY attitude in plenty of parts of the country objecting to single wind turbines near their village, never mind complete wind farms. It's the same with fields full of solar panels spoiling the rustic charm. Unless it's up North of course, where it d...

Re: Seat Re shape

This topic isn't about the riding position of the XMax 300 any other maxi scooter. The OP was enquiring about possibly reshaping the seat of a yet to be purchased new style Forza 300 to get more leg room to ride it in a feet forward position. Cutting out 2 or 3 inches of foam from the Forza's seat b...

Re: Anybody we know?

I'm not cycling anywhere today mate, I've recently stopped booking Thursday morning classes at my 'health club and spa' so I can go off somewhere for the day, as it's usually lunchtime when I get back home after a class. On the Forza, my push bike, or using my old git's bus pass, it really doesn't m...

Re: Seat Re shape

Well maybe it does, but my point was the Forza is a more compact maxi scooter than the other two. So if feet forward is a priority then the Forza isn't going to deliver unless you're on the small side and can still put your feet down when seated and stationary. A couple of days ago I noticed I had t...

Re: Seat Re shape

You do know that the new Forza has a shorter overall length and wheelbase than either the XMax 300 or the Burgman 400. It was also designed to be lighter and sportier than the previous Forza, so if you want to ride feet forward, you're not going to do it on this new version. Obviously I can't plonk ...
