Surprise-surprise, a lot, if not most, of Londoners are "nice people" too.

Re: Heated grips

I have used Daytona Heated grips on many bikes from my Honda Wave 110i up to the Maxsym 400i. Always given superb results in all weathers. There is a big BUT here though. They are never going to work effectively if you don't break the airflow over your hands with some sort of hand guard (like the on...

Re: Maxsym 600i fuel leak

Must admit i have occasionally sniffed something fuelly after filling quite carefully, too.
Mine is a 400i which is almost the same layout.
Reckon you could find out a little bit more about it please? Like where abouts is it on the web site and is this information accessible to the end user?

Re: Pampering a classic.

That would be an Italian certificate of conformity! Drum brakes are unlikely to be compatible with ABS requirements and I doubt whether sticking a catalytic converter in that silencer is likely to satisfy future regulations unless fuel injection is adopted. Many of the outwardly attractive cheap ma...

Re: Cost of bikes

Just s quick reminder that WK and CF Moto are not synonymous. The 650cc bikes are indeed CF Moto but i'm pretty sure the rest of their range was sourced from various different Chinese manufacturers and NOT CF Moto.. Had a look at the Herald 250 last week, nice machine with some sensible "UK" upgrades.

Re: pics at last

Really interested to know all about it as i have a 400i and reckon it's the best bike i have ever owned :D
My only disappointment is the inaccuracy of the speedo. Small price to pay for all the other pluses ;)

Re: Forza v PCX

I reckon a Forza 125 or a Maxi 300/400 would be equal bait for the scrotes. They look the same :o Might be worth considering a S-Wing, still a 125 but semi-Maxi styled. Happy at 60 all day. Nice thing is that if it suited there are plenty s/h and in good nick. My local Honda dealer has a couple of n...

Re: Pampering a classic.

http://theblackdouglas.com/model/the-pitch-black/ Vintage-ish but shouldn't be too unreliable. I have no idea how that could be registered for use on the road as a new vehicle. Saw one on the road today. Had a chat with the owner. Comes with a certificate of conformity (EU requirement) and all the ...
