While any 'off' will cause some sort of injury I ride lightly protected - for comfort! I'm now 80 and unlike in yesteryears find difficulty in bending and even walking.....but my bike is my saviour, riding gear has come on leaps and bounds in the last 20 years or so, many 'armoured suits' are fitted...

Today With the helix on the platform lift I removed the clutch and saw that one of the three shoes each of which should be retained by a circlip had its circlip missing allowing the shoe to vibrate as it came into contact with the drum which I'm sure was the reason for the juddering on start off, 3 ...

You know what you intended to say but what you wrote does not make sence - the Datatool I had fitted to my Burgman worked perfectly all the time!

I had DATATOOL fitted to my Burgman, its an alarm and imobiliser system that works jolly well, DATA TAG is the fitting of ID non visible microdots all over the bike that can be detected by Police surveilance equipment.
