Re: Dr Pulleys

At 29k my Mk 3 Tmax variator rolls were badly worn with lots of flats on them. A set of Dr Pulley sliders and guides has made a world of difference.

Re: Dr Pulleys

The German Dr Pulley supplier is at www.drpulley.info or email info@drpulley.info, their webiste is awkward to navigate for the parts you want but they sell the complete range and because they are inside the eu they are cheaper than taiwan etc with import duties. On their shop page, click on menu (t...

Re: Tmax seat strut spring kit at TBSS

Perfect timing Skutorr, my Mk3 struts are also barely capable of keeping my seat open, it always needs a helping hand to open when unlocked.

Looks like it is time to spend on the scoot again !

Re: B&Q 32mm socket

I have a range of deep impact sockets from Halfords which are relatively inexpensive in an oil black finish and are 6-point, all with a lifetime warranty. They don't get used often but when you get stuck in the middle of a job and need them its good they are to hand and not going to let you down. I ...

Re: Test rode a Tmax at last

When I first got my Mk3 I tried to move the bum stop pad back for more legroom, only to find it was already all the way back. I got used to the riding position but I agree the footboards seem high and bars low and the riding position is best with feet forwards, I am 5'11'' and comfortable on it but ...

Re: T Max Mk1 - Why not?

Well, the holiday is well and truly over and the jetlag has faded along with my suntan.

Capitano, drop me a PM if you are up for a meet and a spin on my Mk3.

Re: Test rode a Tmax at last

I find my Tmax total luxury, but then I suppose I did trade my R1 in for it........... Now theres an instrument of torture !

No more sports bikes for me, the ego is willing but the body is no longer able.

Re: T max mk 6 heated grips have gone from menu ?

One of my first tasks was to winterise my Mk 3 including shad muffs, tucano urbano gaucho and oxford heated grips. The Oxford grips I bought are superb: easy to fit wiring as they go straight across the battery, auto shut off if the bike stops so no flat battery. Very quick to heat up and powerful, ...

Re: Going dark for a few days...

As for the ZX81 my brother started with one and he is now a programmer earning around twice as much (at least) as I do. It inspired him to go to university to do a degree in computing. Little acorns and all that. Likewise our school was ahead of the game with computers and I was a grade A student i...
