Re: A quick GRT BENTLEY Meet...

Whens the next one because I would make more ugly. Tis every Wednesday. Very much subject to the weather though, it was the last place I rode to (successfully that is) last September. Been this year in a car but ground was a bit soft and the crutches got stuck a few times. :D DSC00115 (3).JPG

Re: 2019 Honda Super Cub 125cc

youve hit the nail on the head there Mr Grumpy. Its expensive, which brings in lots of competition in its price range. Im sure it a very capable machine but that off road' bimble ' just didnt look right to me. No pillion, no luggage, more retro than commuter, its nice but I must admit to being disa...

Re: New member from Essex

Greetings from the arse end of Essex (near Sarfend).

BMWs heavy? Hmmmmmmm. Having dumped mine on my leg in September I will be seeing how I feel about it in the Spring then making up my mind whether to replace it with a scoot of some sort.

Re: What do you do with your old lid?

I have a range of large coathooks running up part of my stairs. This was inspired by a very old TV ad for John Smith's which featured cloth caps for various uses including "His drinking cap". My unused helmets now live there along with my Beret Breton etc. Helmets in use have there own hooks in a re...

Re: Pointless screen ?

Some Honda Gold Wing screens had a vent in them, mainly the 1500 one I think.

OK, not a scooter. Or is it? Not really a motorcycle is it?

Re: New Member (not quite)

Thanks for all the replies. It would appear that I have more time in which to make up my mind over the scoot idea as I won't be losing the crutches this year. Bit of a dent in my planned visit to Australia, this year at least but at least I'm saving money sat sitting here. I will have to see how con...

Signed up on here about 4 years ago as I have a friend with a 650 Burger who has just given up riding at the age of 87. He has been previously with me on a couple of rides with a few of you lot and still talks about it. Been through a lot of faffing about but am now back with my original username an...
