When I bought my Burgman 650 it had 3000 miles on the clock. The previous owner had just fitted a GRP exhaust (the whole shebang, but just the rear can). Have a good look at the sale of goods act - it still applies - and you are certainly allowed more than you were given. You cold also always write to the BBC - they love this sort of thing.

Just got home in Newbury - quick change and out for an Italian now. Thank you everyone for making me welcome today - it was good to meet you all. Also thanks for the tips! I shall put a phone holder on my Bergman PDQ
