Waterproof gloves

Any recommendation for good (reasonably priced) waterproof gloves for spring/autumn?

I already have muffs for winter but now looking for waterproof gloves for the wet milder months.

Cheers.

I used another webbing strap to link the bags, just in case, but never had any problems

How did you attach the extra webbing strap to your panniers?

Re: Panniers

Thanks for the suggestions. The givi bags look good. I’ll put them on my wish list. I hadn’t thought about sewing on longer straps to my old panniers so after a bit of googling I’ve ordered some nylon webbing and velcro (known as ‘hook and loop’, I’ve learnt). Now to dust down the sewing machine fro...

Panniers

Any recommendations for a pair of panniers that will securely fit an Xmax?

I’ve got an old pair of Oxford First Time panniers but the Velcro straps are not long enough to fit the width of my scoot. The seat is too wide.

After an hour or so of thinking about it, I eventually did. The Trangia was fired up (I was in no rush!) to boil some water for cof...

Re: South Wales Ride - Bimblevonslow

Monday 25th March - Caerphilly to Beddgelert (185 miles) After a nice couple of days with family and friends it was time to bid farewell and continue my trip to north Wales. Up through the Rhymney Valley past the rows of stone terraced houses built for the mines. I was brought up here so many good ...

Re: New member from Essex

I don't have any regrets about selling the BMW. The little Xmax is proving itself to be every bit as capable. Perhaps the BMW would be better for long distance motorway riding, but motorway riding isn't my thing.
