Dunno - will have to see how it goes on fill up or look at the clocks trip etc... Saturday jaunt to Hastings for an Ice Cream, 2 Up, S1... Instantaneous was reading mainly between 13 and 15miles/Lt so about 60/70 Mpg... On an Average that may be more When we used to go out on the XMax that would ret...

At about £90 for an OE belt... £88 on fowlers parts... 2011 isnt that old... And with only 3000 miles i wouldnt.. New Oil and filter YES.. What sort of mileage are you expecting to do?... Belt life is prolly stated at 15000... But will do more... With an older belt and putting on say 5k a year... I ...

Smaller and firmer... But the XMax400 is somewhat vast and comfy... But no real complaints Said she can feel the difference in ride (from a swung unit to a swing arm)... And feels the DCT... Never been on a geared bike, just the XMax400 previously... Enjoys the extra ooomph, and notices the pitching...

With the increse in revs at the crank, the variator weights are thrown further up the ramps... Centrifugal (dont start on the centrapetal...) force... The squeezes the front pully pushing the belt up... Which by virtue the belt is a fixed length, must open the rear pully against the conti spring... ...

Lovin' the NC and DCT... In D around town it seems to change its mind as often as my wife! In S1 mode it changes stroke for stroke as i would... With the occasional down shift by button for a corner or roundabout... When, like me, its not looking where its going properly... And as suggested, feels b...

Just back from a quick ride of main-ish roads an some B road lanes around Westerham, Edenbridge and Sevenoaks...
Quite a marked difference between D and S1...
D seems to change its mind more often than my wife! :D
