Back on a different scoot

Back after a few years.

To those who remember the madwoman riding an Aprilia Atlantic 500, hi.

I've had a break from riding whilst recovering from spinal surgery in 2012, the Aprilia Atlantic 500 sits forlorn, waiting
for me to repair it once again (electrics of course).

So, I've purchased a 2009 FJS600A Silverwing so I can actually ride a maxi scooter rather than sit by one with a multimeter & soldering iron.

If you see me on the blue silverwing, with a greenish/yellow reflective jacket & a pink helmet, give me a wave.

a.k.a. sadvampire (so called because whilst riding in the summer, us vampy ones get seasonal affective disorder which is also known as sunburn)

With it being a while since I last rode, speed & filtering are things that will take a while to get back into.
Today my max speed was around 85 mph indicated, & filtered through a fews towns along the A21.
Perhaps I'm a bit rusty, but not too rusty.

Welcome back Julie, I had an Atlantic 500 for 5 good(ish!)years!
Nothing I liked better on a glorious ride out day than parked up in the garage with my soldering iron!!!
Seriously though, I loved that big scoot!
