Xevo
Hi all a new member here but I know some of you I swapped my Suzuki GS500F for an Xevo 250 ie last week it would be nice if I could go for a ride but not for a while . Since I got it I put some air in the tyres they were about 15 psi down each end changed the air filter for a nice red one and changed the oil for Mobil 1 ,some one had used a 6 foot scafold bar to tighten the sump plug and the plug washer from Wemoto ,about half inch diameter would not fit the 24 mm plug any way that is all for now and thanks to Capitano for the help ,did I mention I am a Global Mod on the C90Club forum...

Welcome. Don't forget that with the Quasar engine the clutch housing needs a good clean every now and again or you'll get the dreaded Strangled Sealion (copyright - Mozza, I believe )

Yep wightegi is my good mate from the Isle of Wight.
I used to get the strangled sealion with my old 500 Nexus as I liked and retained the 6 roller variator.
I have a feeling that the term originated from JimC on the old TScoot forum.

I'm getting a bit of it with the Forza, probably down to a lot of stop start in the city. Mate who has one was told it was glazing rather than dust but it was still easily cleaned, apparently.

Re: Xevo
Welcome Wightegi, The Xevo was as good as the Piaggio Maxi scooters became, as for any sea lions trapped inside, I have one in my Silverwing from time to time. a few quick accelerations de glazes the clutch drum, it happened on the X9s and Burgman400's
