Im not anti chinese they seem ok making electrical stuff for big name companies in fact they were making the helix for honda it just went to crap when they built there own copy .Which basically is what those bikes are copies so what Im saying is if say that touring bike is 6k buy a 6k pan european (which is 14K new) second hand for same money with full european dealer network and you wont loose a boat load of money as its lost its value already

Well that's what the individual has bear in mind before choosing what to do. I think slowly (very slowly) the Chinese are realising poor products are damaging their International reputation.

The first is an 800 DOHC single cruiser style bike with CVT....

The second is the new WK 650TR

An 800 single cylinder cruiser with CVT.....hmmm not sure about that, but it'll be worth a view at the show.
The 650TR looks good though
Both aren't bad looking, but I'd wouldn't want turn right too sharply on the cruiser, look how low that Exhaust is!.
I'm not crazy, just ask my camel steve!.

Where we come from and where we are going are all the same.

Yamaha Xmax 125i (written off, my bad).
Yamaha Xmax 250i (written off be some Yank Prick).
SYM Voyager GTS 250i (hope this one last's!).

I do like that reminds me of the FJR1300 a little.

I like the idea of an 800cc single, though not sure about it being a CVT. Wonder how large the drive case is. Wonder if the engine is based on a DR Big?

It'll be interesting to see it in the flesh.

Wasn't there a Taiwanese company called Dinli meant to be doing a 800cc CVT cruiser?
Isn't the one shown it?

I know the Chinese have done a 250cc CVT cruiser, the CF moto V5. Saw one at my dealer
it was quite big and I quite like the look but it had rust pretty much all over it and it was
only a 58 reg low milage machine. Though reviews for them are mixed, mostly overheating problems
and the fact is underpowered for a 250cc I believe it had an Helix clone engine. Though they were cheap
to buy and quite a lot of people were happy with theirs, didn't someone on here own one?

WK (white knuckle?) I know use some Taiwanese CPI models, not sure if they're simply rebadged or
license built by WK themselves. But I do believe that the chinese will soon catch up, build quality and
reliability wise. They've started to import cars here now, such as the Great wall steed which was given
a good, but not brilliant review in the top gear mag - who reckon it won't be long before more chinese
cars are imported.

Trouble is I wouldn't want the Chinese to start making everything as that definitely isn't good for us.
