Yes, I suppose if you had a 350 single with the same red line what sort of cruising speed and top speed would we be talking about for a roadster say? 70mph top speed with a practical cruising speed of 60? What would the fuel consumption be? What was the fuel consumption of an old British 350 single?pikey wrote:Cant really compare 750 twin with 300 single small engine needs to rev to make power and torque .

Ah yes of course I forgot about RE... In fact isn't the newer unit construction engine around 27bhp?

Re: Not bad for a 750
My previous Nc700X averaged 75mpg with a best of 79.4mpg.
Amazing economy considering I never spared the Horses
Good to hear the 750 is as economical, could be my next scoot.......

Well the 750 is definitely a more gutsy machine while still holding on to the NCS reputation for economy...

Re: Not bad for a 750
I remember riding Triumph Tiger 750 twins back in my army days.
They were pretty similar in power, torque, rpm and mpg to this "revolutionary" Honda idea....

Try and get a Triumph Tiger 750 through the Euro3 emissions
