Which bike do you wish you'd kept?
Re: Which bike do you wish you'd kept?
Everything I've sold I've always been ready to part with, no regrets.

My old Superdream 250. Wasn't my first bike, wasn't my fastest bike (by a log way), probably wasn't my best bike, but it shined up well and you could just get on it and ride it to the end of the earth and back.
Gone for a counselling session with Prof Burgman.

Steevw - many years ago I had a 1979 silver 250 Superdream - like you say, there was something about it - great bike.

'59 Maicoletta 277, lovely machine and went like hell to 80mph, sold it after a year for my 1st modern car, (in 1960) a '54 Standard Vanguard Estate, later had 3 x Maicoletta 250's, not a patch on the 277, did all my own maintenance & was very adept with the pendulum starter mechanism....still have a few spares in the garage.
