So far I really like my 300i. It has a very lively take off and now that it has loosened up the performance is similar to my previous machine - Piaggio X10. As its the 125i with a bigger engine the riding position is compact but at 5'11" I don't find it uncomfortable. Fuel consumption and tank range are not especially good but I do tend to run it flat out once outside of the 30/40 limits. Access for maintenance is really good but does require the seat and tub to be removed, even to get at the battery. Brakes are very efficient for a single disk and I strongly recommend the ABS version. The trip computer part of the instruments is not well thought out and it is impossible to change the settings on the move. Its even very difficult to change when stationary. Underseat storage is OK and will take one full face and one open face helmet. I have also fitted a medium size top box using the appropriate adaptor with a standard GIVi mounting plate and box.

Ride one. You may like it more than you expect. The J300 makes anyone a bit of a hooligan.
