Been to Kent Motorcycles today, both bikes have been prepared for new owners, so off the demo fleet and of course look new.

Funky, they are still for sale, they have been put in the showroom.
You could be one of the new owners!
At this time of year, dealers clear stocks to make space for new 2018 models and their Demo's need selling.

Oh! I thought you meant that they have been snapped up! I'll know from my test tomorrow what I am after. The seat height and position is my main influence between the X and S, as to whether I want to stick with the TMax or change to an NC is reliant on the DCT. I have a feeling I'll like it regardless, I am getting a little bored of the TMax, its become less fun.

Just watch out for the unexpected and unwanted gear changes when cranked over on slimy corners....

If in slow-ish town ridding i always use S mode, helps it stay in the gear for a little longer.

That'll be a good test.

As said use S1 mode for commute and D mode for cruising. I actually never use D having had mine 6 months, it has nominal mpg impact and avoids any scenarios (for me anyway) of being in the wrong gear. It doesn't ever unsettle the bike when changing so even if it changed gear in a bend there's no drama.

Keep your left thumb hovering over the "-" button and use that to knock the DCT down a gear as you approach bends or mini roundabouts (if needed), the DCT is clever but it can't see the road ahead!!
