Check tyre pressure is up to stop flat spots, and if you do run it , make sure it gets hot (run it till the fan kicks in). Also keep an eye on the battery.
+1 on brimming tank/fuel stabiliser

Use centre stand (If fitted) to take weight off back tyre.

move back every month or more to turn tyres to different spot.

The owners Manuel used to have instructions about long lay ups (Inc taking spark plug out etc)

I'd leave battery on permanent charge or take it home to keep in the warm

finally if not going to be visited for some time mouse/rat poison around as little b******s love a nice bit of air box or wiring loom.

funky if you need a hand please shout out more than happy to pop over drive you to garage as not that far away and was in Theydon Bois most of today

Thanks for the offer Scootypuff but my brain is recovering nicely so I can manage to do things, I'm a very independent person but I'd make my wife go with me so I feel 100% safe :)

I got a call yesterday to say an appointment has been sorted for a neurologist today so i'll find out what they say about riding.

Likely will not be able to ride for 12 months, but been told to apply early if I have not had a seizure.

Choices, choices, do I sell the NC750X along with the TMax and then buy an ex demo 2018 in 1 years time if I can find one or just the TMax and do my best to look after the NC. I know which my wife prefers, sell both, it just took a lot to get the NC and I love it (not as much as Joann though)

sell the t-max, and advertise the NC in free sites (gumtree, preloved, ect) so its not costing you anything, then if it sells great, if it doesn't its not cost anything and you can start using it again.
Im not a gynecologist, but I dont mind taking a look.

Keep the NC & spend your free time personalising it to suit your taste, will be all sparkly & nice when you're ready to ride again

Selling both could put as much as 8k in the bank for a year, along with spares sales this could be more. This will then appreciate, not much granted but will increase none the less. Logically this makes sense, do I want to lose money on something I can't ride instead of making money? it's a hard choice.

That's a fair point, no depreciation (got to be £750) or insurance (say £75) etc... And interest (although you'd be luck to earn £100 interest on that sum).

So you could save £1000 by selling.
