Benelli Leoncino 500
Took one out for a few hours test ride yesterday, what a lovely machine, great motor and gearbox, switchable A.B.S, adjustable rear shock, really nice looking machine and the best part, 4999otr, if only i had the money although there is a scrambler, cafe sport and 250 version coming this year, chinese built but bloody brilliant, they have turned the quality up somewhat!

Re: Benelli Leoncino 500
I had, from new, a Benelli Velvet based on the Yamaha 250 X max power train. Although it was a fundamentally good design it had been butchered by the suppliers/importers to the extent that I suspected it wasn't really new at all. So all I can say is if you are tempted buy from a respectable source but don't make the mistake of buying from a back street scooter dealer in Newbury!
