Was a bit concerned to hear a horrible crunching sound coming from the back of the Xevo at the end of yesterday's journey. Closer inspection revealed a collapsed swingarm bearing... we decided to try and get to the caravan in Villanova and fix it there (anazingly pikey had a spare on him & we had all the tools between us). What was left of the bearing was a bugger to get out but heating the swingarm on the gas bbq did the trick, Lyn to the rescue once again: all three of us still in the game

needless to say pikey reminded us of his heroic part in this enterprise at regular points during the evening...

Had a day out yesterday lazy day today Jaz has been cooking like a Star .leave tomorrow 4 stops then back on ferry .

Popped into Andorra for a burger nice day until hail storm on pass El Canto 1700 meters .Soaked last few miles in hotel now in Sort Hotel Les Brases .On half board here and garage parking .Back to 3 in room be some moaning in the morning again had own room s last 4 nights .Colder here in Pyranees but nice roads and scenery.

Hail filled up clocks resesses Jaz had little puddles in bottoms .At moment gear in bathroom and we have hair dryer going full tilt .

Great day yesterday from Sort to.Jaca went up to snow line over the top .Weather was great but we knew a storm coming in made hotel hour before it came .Into France today at Bayonne already weather OK at moment .Back to Bilbao tomorrow easy day then ferry next morning .

I've had wobberly rear wheel today bit of layby mechanics took out the play and have done 50 miles on it .Just had a snooze and checked it still OK no play at all .Will keep tools handy keep eye on it .All mountain riding done now just along coast to Bilbao. I must say Pyranees worth a visit cheaper for fuel and food on Spanish side and let ferry do the slog down here .
