That was quite a trek for you, all thinks considered. Thanks for lunch and riding shotgun. It was rather reassuring having a socking great maxi in my mirror. :)

My treat next time, maybe at The Bog.
Was a nice ride out bud, thanks for the company & local knowledge guy's n' gal, was most impressed the way the SH's got up Fish Hill 8-)
Found the stone circle, then the pub, another pub, the model village & remembered the wellington museum in Moreton in Marsh (only open Sundays)
Will check milage in the morning, was best part of a tidy few

Was a pleasure to have you aboard Bern, sounds like you had a good tour, look forward to seeing the Yam.

I clocked around 65 miles, you must have easily trebled that.

219 miles round trip bud, I say round, but if it was on a bit of paper it would look like the meanderings of a drunken spider

My little detour didn't help. I just checked the camcorder and there was a tape in it with some kiddy stuff. I've downloaded it and sent it to the lady.

You need to be there May 19 & 20 for the 'steam & ale' weekend bud (https://www.gwsr.com/Spring_Steam_and_R ... t--53.html) get an all day rover ticket ( https://gwsr.vticket.co.uk/event.php?xS ... 1dff44193d ) 20 different real ales at Wincombe then catch the train to Toddington for 10 more different ones Hic Birp, timetable here ... https://www.gwsr.com/planning_your_visi ... ables.html
Now this is my part of the world!! :D as you've mentioned Toddington I thought I'd pitch in and mention that there's a rail museum there if anyone visiting is interested
Racking up the miles...............slowly!! icon_moped.gif

This was really a bit of a recce to see what the railway station's like with a view to parking and going on a steam train. The weather forecast was a bit iffy and we didn't want to commit until closer to the day. As it happened, it was the nicest day of the year and lovely sat outside the cafe at Broadway Tower.

A shame you missed it and we will certainly give more notice next time.

Noooooooo, you'll tell me off Lyn  think back to our chat about project/present ;) **hint* ..... found a 1997, one owner. UK model, 2164 miles from new, some handy OEM accesories (& some that will never be used) ... the 'itch' had to be scratched ;)

Ohh, yer, still keeping the Silverwing for the forseeable future :D
