Added day trip to Northern Ireland from Cairnryan on way up or back .Ride Antrim coast road stenaline do special short stay fare for motorcycles .May also change nc500 to easier the South west Scotland 300 coastal route see what weather for cast is .

Julian, Looking at Larry Lambs ride around Britain by bike, (channel 5) last week he rode the outer Hebrides (western Isles), an interesting program.
Thinking of doing it,

I went to the 1967 Ulster GP. Hailwood won, it rained, I didn't return.

Never done the islands I'd like to do Mull on day trip from Oban .

Guess what me and wife went on day trip to Belfast from Cairnyan and it was sunny did open bus tour and Titanic exhibition. My plan would be check weather while up there book night before .

Been over to Mull couple of times in the van, it is really nice, camped at Finnport? where the foot ferry goes over to Iona so we could visit the Abbey where all the Scottish kings are buried

Stags otters golden eagles loads to see, stayed for two weeks, you do need to stock up on provisions though

You used to be able to buy a hopscotch ticket to enable visits to many islands, Caledonian Mcbrayne ferries
