Just arrived home after 110 mile round trip. Good to see everyone and meet some new muppets. Thanks to Motza for leading the way through the some parts of Essex that I've not travelled before. Good company and great weather. What more could you ask for.

Great day and a pleasure to meet new faces. Thanks for scooping me up in Dunmow. Enjoyed the lanes around Toot Hill, some new to me.

Apologies for zipping off a bit early, I had an urgent call from home.

See you next time.

Agree... A North East Kent based ride sounds good. With food at the Oasis or Oakdene?

Well it's been one of the bigger meets we have had for some time and in the Winter too. Great to see some old faces that haven't been seen for a few years and also some new faces too.

Weather was brilliant although the chill could be felt on the way home. Heated grips sorted that (I did have my summer gloves on!). Forecast for - 4c here tonight.

Route planned on the TomTom worked really well and we found some great roads around Toot Hill. On the way back we went via Epping, Ongar, Writtle, Great Leighs, Notleys, Silver End, Tiptree and Colchester. 125 miles in all.

Need to resolve some Bluetooth issues on the TomTom and wire a permanent power feed. But was impressed with it, especially as I got it half price.
