Re: Suzuki Burgman 2014 line up
Then again, Aprilia's ECVT is a Dry Clutch design, unlike Suzuki's Burgman650 Wet Clutch. It's probably along the (MUCH CHEAPER) Aprilia line...

Re: Suzuki Burgman 2014 line up
Right, I've never seen the ecvt model or any info on it. I'm not that up on what's going on in the world. I live in my own little world with big ends, bearings oil and beer most of the time, rather sheltered these days!
Probably not ugly enough for the 'Ugly Bunch'!

Thanks bluebottle. That's very interesting. Wonder how reliable it is?

Re: Suzuki Burgman 2014 line up
I don't know anything about the reliability but it seems a simple system.
Personally I'd like an "overdrive" version.
An extra manually engaged step to drop the revs on motorway cruising. Get it up to 70 and hit the button: more relaxed engine and better economy

Burger 650 already has it.....from manual gear change go into 6th gear and you have OD...if in Auto it does not do it..just need to see the revs drop in top auto and manual..
