Aaagghh!!!!

Post by ba249k »

After a good ride out up to Arnside and back I stopped off in Lancaster and whilst stopped my Burgman fell over!!!
Not sure how I did it probably not paying attention to the camber where I parked it.
Just a gently topple but it's still made a nice mess of the right hand side.
It's scuffed all the edge of the front fairing, slight marks on the indicator lens and wing mirror.
I'm now looking for some touch up for Pearl Moonstone Grey -YWC.
Anybody got any pointers
Cheers
Baz

I know how miserable you must feel. Unfortunately it's happened to us all at one time or another..:(

Could be worse. I chucked mine down a hill this year on black ice. No amount of touch up paint is going to fix the ground down panels and it's not worth replacing them as the scoot is too old.

Never had a zero speed drop when I had a 650 Burg but dropped my FJR reversing it off my drive. Only did about a grands worth of damage.

Took two of us to get it up off the ground.
Paddle harder. I can hear banjo music!

3 days ago when the sun shone for an hour I went out for a short ride, lovely! But on returning home and riding (paddling) up my 3/4" pebblestone drive the front wheel went leaving me standing and the bike falling to the right, had to summon wifey to help right the bike as its too heavy single handed, with her lifting the bars and myself standing on the left footboard the bike came up - leaving nice new scratches on the r/f underside plus a small scratch on the silencer. Those stones are like ice so will need to clear 100 yards of them before next ride!
