I have just part exed my Peugeot Satelis 250 Exec for a stunning 07 plate Burger 400 with 7000 miles on the clock from Lincolnshire Motorcyles. I got what I paid for Satelis back in Sept so I'm happy.
Wanted something bigger to take my lad on the back. Not had chance to ride it yet because the weather has been awful. It's been a garaged scoot, never used for commuting and is mint. I'm using my son's Vespa LX 50 for work, but am going to sell that. I can then use Mrs Buff's S-Wing 125. Can't wait to get on it for a run out.
On a nother note if any muppets are interested I'm going to put the Vespa in the for sale section. £900 08 Plate. Fully Chromed.
Cheers Buff

Re: My new Burger
07 thats a good vintage. You will love the burger. I got my k7 back in july last year and wow i still love it to bits. The only down side to the k7/k8 is the cluch is a bit ruff. if you have been on a 250 the jump up to 400 is going to inspire you to ride longer. Enjoy

Re: My new Burger
It's not really a move up from a 250 to 400 as I've previousy owned a Y plate Burger 400 (which introduced me into scooters a few years ago), X8 400, X9 500 and Majesty 400.
I think what's lurking in the garage will be the best so far.
Hope to get out on it today. I don't mind the cold, but I want it dry.
Will post pics shortly.

Re: My new Burger
I've just been and ordered a 47 litre topbox with back cushion and colour coding from Streetbike in Halesowen.
It already can hold two full face helmets under the seat.

Re: My new Burger
i love mine with a passion, and too think ide never have seen myself on a burger 2 years ago,the storage on it is one of the big plus points for me as i use mine for my job its amazing what you can get into one. they do have there down sides the older ones more so than the k9's onward but its a small price to pay for the big plus's they do have. defo gonna get a new one when i'v killed mine. ide love to think that the 2013 modles will be just as good but with a nice face lift, lets hope they dont try and turn them into auto bikes as the burg is a fantastic scooter.

Re: My new Burger
Good choice! You should be happy with it.
Sorry johnp but I disagree about what you say about 'Frenchy made bikes.' I used to have a Peugeot Elyseo 125 . I had it for 3 1/2 years and it was fine apart from a fuel gauge sensor that was fixed under warranty.
