Was the Burgman more comfy than the Yamaha? Well it was always him that wanted to stop for an 'arse break'


Was it more economical than the Yamaha? Yes. he had a greater range than me but he used €15 worth of petrol for every €11 that I used.


Was I playing catch up? Not so much, but it wasn't a 'go as fast as you can' trip, we wanted to see the sights so we didn't use any motorways or toll roads and I seemed to handle the twisties just as well, if not better than he did. He definitely had the advantage when accelerating up hill but never to the point where he had to make allowances for me.
