SEAT ADVICE PLEASE

Post by Burgerboy44 »

Need some advice please. The link below shows my seat on my Burgman, as comfy as it is I would like to put one of the back rest extensions on it, the only thing is it doesn't look like most peoples seat as its not got a definitive backrest padding , so how can i sort this without paying hundreds of pounds for a brand new seat? Any suggestions people? Thanks

I dont think you'll be able to put a riders backrest on that seat, strange, cant remember seeing a seat on a 650 without the adjustable bumstop!!!!!!
Could you try and source another seat from a motorcycle breakers,

Thanks Steve and Victor, It's a 2005 burg, I'm puzzled why the seats like that? couldn't be off a 400 could it? would it fit? May have to price one up at a breakers or somewhere?? just don't want to spend a fortune as ive just ordered a higher screen.

Lift it up and look at the under side to see if it has the slidder and lock bolt holes in it, then if it does you no it is a 650 seat and can stuff a screw driver up from the bottom to locate the fixing points.
