Update. Just caught the last of the rain this morning as I rode into work. A fresh 6'c (42'f) and rather damp roads so proper slippy tyre conditions. Not bad with both tyres around the 38 psi mark. Slightly worse than normal for confidence but only just and about the level that my previous bike have had in these conditions with touring tyres on

I run 36 /40 on my srv with any brand of tyre . I still feel that the Michelin pilot road sc4 for scoots is the best bad weather tyre so far and has offered up good mileage ,well for me that is . I,m on the Pirelli Diablo Rosso for scooters now and must say so far they have impressed even in the wet ,from me tharpts good as I always try to avoid Pirelli s .

Read somewhere years ago that 36/42 are ideal pressures to use, mind you that was for sportsbikes lol.but I stick to that on most of my bikes

lol, I know what you mean. Used to be on whatever bike I owned forums as 'insert bike here'Jay but it kept getting confusing when I changed bikes so sort of stopped 4 bikes ago with the Kwack Z750.
On a positive note, since I have bunged the front to about 36-38 and the rear to 38-40 psi, the Avon's have been good though the weather the last few days has been good. About to pop out to a local bike meet for a burger, it is only a couple of miles away and the temperature has dropped with the rain so its cold wet roads and cold tyres time

Front still feels heavy but grip felt fine even when cranked over scrapping the centre stand on the roundabouts.

If his centre stand is like mine it doesn't always go all way back home and I have had mine touch down on odd occasion

Easy to do, just got to ride it motorcross style!
Right side is easy, left not so. Also depends on shock setting and how much weight you are carrying. My normal setup the shocks are on 3 and I can get the stand in contact with the ground.
Add either wifey or a heavy load and it happens even if you up the shock to 5. Hopefully the new springs will stop that happening with her on the back

Strangely, since I put the Avons on, I have only got the stand down once [emoji53] - probably the few mm the thicker rubber has given me just enough clearance to stop it happening.
Now they are thoroughly scrubbed in I am not having any issues. Compared to the Bridgestones they do feel a bit 'heavier' like they want to keep you more upright (Harder, heavier, thicker so the rotating mass is greater) but about the same as all the other hard wearing tyres I have had.
