I have used one of this type on a Honda CBR250 single that had some exhaust and air filter modifications. It was useful and could be programmed from the computer or using those tweaking dials. All you gain is driveability in most cases and unless you go to the expense of using a rolling road it is best to check performance using GPS data over a known and repeatable route to take out some of the guesswork.
