Thanks Meldrew, quite a difference in seat height then but the weight is much less that my Burgman K8 400, which by the way I'm asking for £2000 or nearest, its currently 'on the road' so to speak and soon to renew its MOT, its a good bike with good tyres and the best 'extras'. MMAO

Interesting to learn of the Foresight, I'd not heard of it before but it too seems scarce as hens teeth.

Hi bud, on the Foresight the 29" seat height is three inches taller than the Helix, and the weight is about the same.
Hi Bern & Meldrew, thanks both for the info, I'm following that one up, seat 3" higher - is that front or back? 29"

This looks good...

Bern and Meldrew, Thanks guys for the tip off, did hear (via official scources) that only 27 of these were imported to the UK, I've bought the Foresight above and look forward to trying the wife for fit....,!
What could go wrong with a 5,000 mile bike? - actually its in good order and the seller is arranging a new MOT to be done by an outside firm next week, then just remains to sort delivery. I'll place seperate details of the 2009 Burgman that is now available for sale.

Yes, the 250 Foresight is a scooter that's under the radar for most riders. I remember reading an article in the old Motorcycle Sport where some old boy who was a former Army officer rode a Foresight from the UK to Iran just before, or after the First Gulf War to visit Iranian friends he'd made many years before. I can't remember much more but he probably rode it back home again too.

I'm really looking forward to it - and the wife is enthusiastic too, can't be bad, with only 5,500 miles its nearly new, - perhaps my previous experiences with the Helix will not be repeated, I hope so. The previous (current) owner is driving down from Wolverhampton today to meet me, some journey! Perhaps I might even sell the Burgman ?

It does seem that this website is not the easiest to add photos to, I've not found a way yet.
