Well, it would seem that things are going to move faster than expected.......

Mrs V put a cheeky bid on an ebay auction this morning and has won, and then completely forgot to tell me about it! :roll:
So it appears that I am now the owner of a 2006 Aprilia Atlantic Sprint 500. I now just have to work out how to get it down from Gateshead.

Out of curiosity do you know the name of the person selling it? my mate has one and he and his lass both share it but they live in south shields, then again I am sure I have seen another parked up westgate rd in Newcastle recently that is not there's!

I Rode one of these some years ago.Its like riding a barge with no rudder.Bloody long thing.

Well done! Enjoy the ride as I believe that they are really comfortable. There is one that occasionally passes me on the M25, that seems to go well two up. So, no excuses for not taking Mrs V out as a pillion. From memory I think Wozza had one a few years ago so he may be able to give you a few pointers about the machine.
