Got my GP800 back last weekend after a long absence. The leaking fork seal was replaced and two electrical gremlins fixed by a non franchised garage. I am hoping this will cure the cutting out problem that has driven me crazy.
I had forgotten how fast the gp800 is. The mechanic who repaired it professed to hating scooters and he said he was really impressed when he took it on a long test drive. He said he laughed out loud it was so fast and he had never ridden anything like it.
The gp800 is just so addictive. I should hate it. I don't trust it which is never a good feature for a bike but I still love it.

Just in time for bad weather To replace the fork seals the whole front end had to be stripped down.
Such a shame Honda did not build it.

I think you've just defined an Italian scoot or bike!!! Reminds me of my Atlantic - it was definitely a relationship not ownership, but as we all know some relationships are more troubled than others.....c4aok wrote:

It is frustrating because it looks amazing and it is lovely to ride but I am just waiting for it to stall again. I used Bikewise in southend second time around and they seem to have cured it after stripping it down.

Mine has the colour coded back box which makes it more practical and balances the look.

I thought the top box was there to stop you sliding off the back at break neck speeds lol .
