Weather was freezing, but with the Gerbing Heated gloves I was warm as toast!
Had to turn them down half way thru' the Journeys! :D

Have you had any random resets on your 750?
mine has become a pain in the BTM and my
fuel consumption has rocketed the last 3 tanks
full, plus the fuel gauge chucks it's hand in now

I've got the Gerbings heated gloves and jacket liner and they're bloody good with a lifetime warranty too. Hardly ever use the jacket liner though unless it's nearly freezing and on the motorway.

I had some Exo2 gloves and they were shit (liner fell to bits after using them in the rain and then they broke) so I wouldn't trust their heated stuff.

Don't say that, I thought they were supposed to be bullet proof (apart from the chain) :?

So what was the re-call for then if not the speedo!!
go to the honda main site and look for the service bulletin list, type in your Vin no:
and any service info ( re-calls or other work ) needed on your bike will pop up.
Tis some of the 2014 bikes not all, a firmware glitch. I had my notice a week now
so must ring the dealer soon..

The theory with a heated body warmer is that it heats your body, keeping your core temperature up, which helps the body keep your extremities warm. If your hands are cold, this could be a sign that your body is getting cold and cutting off blood supply to extremities to keep its core temperature up. So in theory, if you have a heated body warmer, you are much less likely to need heated gloves, socks etc

This was for a problem with the lock mechanism on the Helmet Trunk.
Owners were having trouble opening the lid, they have redesigned the cam.
I never had a problem with mine, but now it is much easier to open :)

I have not this problem, but there is a recall for it.
Honda are replacing the Speedo units on certain VIN numbers.
I checked my VIN online and it was not included in the recall.
This is the third recall for the NC750X, I had new tyres fitted at 1278 miles!

Had my Keis body warmer about two years now. I wear it most days, even not plugged in it makes a good extra tight layer that keeps the cold out. This time of year i usually start my ride not plugged in, after getting where iam going and heading back i then plug in. Never needed it higher than Medium. :)

Just got myself one a few days ago as a xmas present. (I know i am supposed to wait till xmas and all but cold doesn't wait)

I already had inner gloves with battery so getting the vest wasn't too costly since i didn't have to pay for the battery this time.

Great piece of kit. I didn't think it was going to make so much difference but a colleague who's been wearing one for years swears by it, so thought i'd give it a try.

Motorway riding around 30 mins with 2-3 degrees outside, it worked a charm on setting 3 on my battery (1-5 settings so 60% power)

It has extra output plugs to daisy chain gloves/trousers/shoe soles if need be.

Comes with a power controller but that doesn't seem to work with the battery as battery has its own controller. I guess it only works when wired directly to the bike.

That's a result Roy.

I bet you get that battery charged up in the morning and come mid-afternoon, you'll be wearing the X10, zipped up with the battery on full heat, sat on the settee with a nice cuppa or sherry, watching Zulu, etc etc :D

Or perhaps, standing out in the garden under the Magnolia for half an hour testing it!
