Found a bike
Tried a 650 Burgman yesterday, unfortunately too big and heavy for what I need, but found a 400 today, 2004, 10k miles, very good condition, 12 months test, being serviced and mot'd on Monday and I'm collecting on Wednesday. I think that it'll take me a while to get used to the twist n go but looking forward to being back on 2 wheels...

You'll have to get used to dry feet and (huge) secure storage too - it's hellDoubleB wrote:I think that it'll take me a while to get used to the twist n go but looking forward to being back on 2 wheels...
Let us know if you miss the gear-changing and playing hunt-the-neutral, I found a new type of freedom without being dragged back to the mundane mechanicals every time a new gear was needed

Re: Found a bike
Took me about 200 yards to get used to twist 'n go...
...though gears don't really bother me, I don't think about them. I just change them when needed.
Good luck with the 'new to you' bike.
