Which one? Nexus 250 or X9 500?

depends what the scooters is going to be used for

just riding about at normal speeds then the 250 will be fine

motorway miles and touring then the x9 would be better

I use my 400 burgman for fishing so need the space under the seat also when at work need somwere to store jacket helmet and gloves as no were indoors to do it
so again the nexus wouldn't do the job

For any sake, what are you thinking, this is about buying an Italian scooter, there's no point making such sensible comment

Great, Thanks for all the advice, comments and support for other bikes but i believe i have disappointed 99% of you and went for the Nexus 250

Now just watch this space and i'll be asking questions as to how to fix it, and why it all went wrong!

But very probably they were made in France (by MBK) with Italian (Minnarelli) engines!
