Who is braving this stormy weather?

Post by EssexGazza »

Anyone braving the extreme gusts of winds we are having at the moment? It's the car for me in these conditions I'm afraid

Nice and quiet up in NE!!! There again, I decided not to risk 'Henry' last week. I did make a trip during 'Frank' over Xmas, though only cos the winds would be head and tail winds not cross winds. Head wind seriously limited speed of the Bev on a dual carriageway!

Yes, still out everyday on my 2011 SYM300.

In this wind it's the first choice, it's a bit like sitting on a clothes line as the wind blows the bike around beneath me but it never changes line, even adding in the bow waves of lorries along the M11.

Some bikes and scooters I'd not risk in this wind.

I said elsewhere that I ventured out on my push-bike this morning but I'll stay indoors otherwise; the emergency services have enough to deal with with people who must go out - they don't need me adding to their problems. :)

Just got home from my ride out of London on my Forza.
A13 elevated section at Dagenham was a challenge, slowest it has ever been, had to stick at 45 mph.

Wasn't too bad riding but I nearly got blown over by a gust of wind when I was stopped at the Moby Dick lights on the A12.

i was until the wind blew my runner over and made it fall into another bike :( lucky no damage on my bodywork, light scratches on windscreen, no damage on the other bike.
