Please make sure the lanyard is short. I attached my sat nav via the suction cup to my SH300 dial perspex once and as I went round a roundabout you've guessed it.
I was very lucky it didn't go into the wheel as it swung alongside.

Well that was a shit idea - should have known that the vibration from the windscreen ruled this unworkable

When I fastened my camera to the mirror that failed due to vibration too. I ended up fastening it to the front rack of the GTS and it's just fine there but looks a bit untidy.
