Or maybe he finds maxi-scoots even more exciting than we do!Cookie wrote:Is that bloke holding a dildo or has he just got an extra long thumb?

Has anyone heard any more news on this?
It seem's like we've been waiting forever and the new Tracer 700 looks like a tempting commuter.
My local bike shop is both a Yamaha and Kymco dealer, might go for the Tracer, then when the Kymco is released about 3 hours later they should give me a good deal on a P/X

The Tracer does seem like a tempting thing....though it'd be even better if Yamaha were to produce some sort of DCT transmission to go with it!cav wrote:Has anyone heard any more news on this?

My guess is that the Kymco will be officially unveiled at the Milan show in November, and will be available in 2017. After all it was merely a concept a couple of months ago! Of course, that timetable will equally likely apply to the next version TMax and Kawasaki J500!

Looks like a TMax except for that shock and some minor details.
Variable valve timing might mean added economy and top end performance, but also means added expense at service time and less desirability as the bike ages. Looks good though and will certainly take some customers away from Yamaha. Especially if it's cheaper than the Max.

Re: Street version of the Kymco K50 Concept
I thought that was going to be the answer, I'll probably swap the Street Triple R for a Tracer then wait for the new range of maxi scooters to be released and go from there.
The maxi scooters make so much sense for my commute, but there's nothing available that I have the desire to own at the moment.

But if you fancy the forthcoming Kymco, why don't you fancy a Tmax (apart from the hideous price)? After all, one is more or less a clone of the other!cav wrote: The maxi scooters make so much sense for my commute, but there's nothing available that I have the desire to own at the moment.

Road test images... I guess they tape it up to disguise it.
