Maxi deaths 2012

Post by Sgt Ernie Bilko »

Seems Piaggio have dropped the Fuoco and Xvo 400 (the Xvo 125 is hanging in, but is surely on run out...) for the UK meaning the only Maxi Scooter they will offer will be the X10 350ie... at a tad under £5k

Nothing bigger than 300cc in the Yourban/MP3 range and Vespa is offering another round of limited editions...

Piaggio X10 anyone?? :?

Have they acknowledged that the engine size and power of the 350 does not match the new regs?

Or I have misinterpreted the size/power ranges available to new bikers?

I would consider the X10 if they were to bring the 500 model to the UK

Nooooo, the 500 is too lumpy. I really would love to try the new 350, I hope its as good as they say and who cares about new riders. There plenty of stuff out there for them ;)

Is the ABS and traction control include in the tad under £5000 or is it extra? Will it even be available in the UK?

Who cares, its all a load of bollocks anyway.... we havent had all that stuff since the dawn of the motorcycle so why we need it now is beyond me.

No thanks! Even my dealer admits the X10 is fugly. Nice engine on the 350 and good service intervals but just too damn ugly for me.
