Thanks Bern and Waldorf.

The rain was the first after a good 2-3 weeks of dry weather, so I am normally a bit more cautious. Then of course there's other factors to think of like a car changing its mind on turning right, the lights might change, dodgy pedestrians.

Riding for the conditions: proper thing to do.
Pity more road-users, including pedestrians, don't follow the same rule. ;)

Funky you can rest in the knowledge that whatever colour scheme you'd used on your TMax she still would not have seen you. Whither she crossed at the lights or not it was what amounted to suicide to walk out without looking on a busy road. :?

To be fair, with the hedge there, she had a very restricted view of Funkycowie (and he of her), and the umbrella that they had made things worse.

I think there was confusion by the Lady and friend over the traffic lights. Thinking that they were pedestrian lights controlled traffic as was said. Main thing is all ok
