Hi all,

I am just over 10k miles on my 2015 Forza and will complete the 12k before its 2 years old.

over the past 10k the scooter has been 100% reliable and at 85 to 90mpg economical too.

what is the highest Mileage members on here have put on their Forza?
I am planning on keeping mine for at least another 2 years and it would at 20k than...

I know gn2 had over 20k on his but I don't know who else...

Thx

Tiapan had over 50k on his SH 300 which has the same motor as the forza.

I've got 52K on my similar engined SH300. Mechanically they are very strong.

My '64 reg Forza 300 now has 23,350 miles on it and is still running very nicely, I bought it in March-15 at 6 months old with just under 2,000 miles on it. I was doing circa 9,000 mils per year on it but recently changed jobs so now I'll only be doing about 4,000 per year.
Last month I took it to Scotland for a tour of the West coast but it developed a fuel leak so I came home early again - covering 1,000 miles in 3 days. Fuel leak was caused by a Honda dealer damaging the petrol tank when they did a fuel pump recall in Nov-16, I'm currently pursuing Honda to refund me the £557 it cost for a new petrol tank to be fitted.
In my opinion the actual bike is superb and I would get another without hesitation, good balance of speed and economy, superb space under the seat, excellent weather protection and long service intervals.

Some mechanics have no idea, some countries have worse dealers though..
(Ed March in Vietnam fighting mechanics ideas of how to work on bikes)

The best/worst is at the end when a helpful young mechanic nips in - unseen - to tighten (and strip) the head bolts..

Still remember my SYM 300 coming back with a warning light on, the mechanic (and he was usually pretty good) had forgotten to plug the O2 sensor back in after a clearance check.

I sort of gave up on dealers after that, as I can forget stuff for free, although I'd still trust M&M http://www.m-mmotorcycles.co.uk/ who really know what they are doing, and A&M http://www.am-motorcycles.co.uk/ who are also very switched on.

Hobson's choice with a recall though: hope you get it sorted, that's a big bill that's not yours.

Hi Symcity,
It's been regularly serviced (I believe in preventative maintenance)
Serviced every 7,000 miles, new belt & rollers at 14,500 plus front & rear pads
New rear tyres at 7,500, 14,600 & 21,400
New front tyre at 18,600
2nd set rear pads at 22,100 and that is it.
Without the petrol tank bill it's cost £946 in servicing & maintenance over 21,000 miles which works out at £0.045 per mile which fares very well against my previous steeds which were a Swing125 (over 11,000 miles which cost £0.08 per mile) and the Vespa gts300 before that (9500 miles @ £0.12 per mile).

Hi Globs, I am rubbish at mechanics but I've found a really good independent who I use for both bikes and who is very reasonable cost wise. Unfortunately the dealer I choose to carry out the recall work was a bad apple but I'm reasonably confident Honda will offer some assistance. Great if they do, if they don't there are bigger things in this world to worry about! Health is wealth and all the time I can ride I happy.
