On Two Wheels mag

Post by MrGrumpy »

Picked up a copy of the On Two Wheels mag at the weekend - its not that bad actually. It does pick up where T&G left off, being focused on relatively new riders, and it certainly doesn't do anything in depth! But there were a couple of moderately informative test rides of the new Burger 400 and Peugeot Django 125, and it seems to contain much more of interest than any recent edition of Motorcycle Monthly, which seems to have abandoned any scooter coverage at all.

And OTW does offer decent value for money as its free!

I think I'll look out for a copy myself. Used to read T&G myself till it turned into what it is now.

Local service place. Locations its held should be o2w.co.uk. You can even read the current edition on there without leaving your PC!

Picked a copy up from Hayball Motorcycles in Salisbury together with a free copy of Motorcycle Monthly after a nice ride up to look at their SWMs, Enfields, Mutts and various other assorted bikes, and a coffee on the square.

Always putting a happy spin on things eh Meldrew???? No, OTW isn't brilliant but its the only scooter related thing out there, and MCM seems to have declined in interest drastically. O2W is like T&G, but better 'cos its free!

Yeah! That IS seriously annoying! MSL is occasionally....OK... as a bike mag, though not always.

I quite enjoyed reading my copy. Maybe I'm just easily pleased.

I picked up my copy at Lings (killing time) . What caught my eye was the ad on page 23 QB Motorcycles doing brand new vespa GTS 300 touring with fitted colour coded Squires side car £10.999 OTR (ouch)

However vespa & chair, do I fancy that-hell yeah.

Anybody near enough to look in and see one in the flesh and report back
