Hip and piles, the pleasures of age.
I thought Sunday would be a great day for an early trundle to Scarborough on the GTS, it was a warm night and dry. I duly set off at 05:30, happy days I thought. Two miles later I was wriggling around a bit and uncomfortable. I though I'd ride through the pain and carried on. I pulled off the M62 at Howden and I was not happy but I was determined to carry on, after all a bacon sarni and a coffee were calling! A few miles the other side of Howden I realised I was really not concentrating on the ride, I was in some discomfort so I turned around and headed home, I'd done around 25 miles at this point. I've never had to terminate a ride before so I was sad at this point but safety rules the day. I got home OK but very sore, the old Farmers were glowing and I was not happy! Off to the bathroom to apply the soothing ointment, that was the point I suffered a ''click'' in my arthritic hip and I spent the rest of Sunday in agony. I could barely sit down, when I managed it I could barely get back up again. The afternoon was spent in a drug filled haze, prescription of course, I managed to fall asleep on the recliner for two solid hours. All in all a very unpleasant day and I am still feeling the aftermath today.

Ibuprofen jell works well for joint and mussel pain, treat the point of pain
not the full body but not for the piles.

I got some suppositories but after a week of swallowing them I'm no better. I may have well shoved them up my arse.

The suppositories from IKEA are just as bad. You have to put them up yourself.
