The problem with 1-piece suits is that you have to have the body proportions that the manufacturer decides you should have. If not you're at risk of either the legs riding up around your ankles or of it gathering massively around your crotch.

So I'd try a few on. After trying number of sizes and brands of one-piece I went for separates.

Different senses of humour then. Personally Jimmy Carr does as much for me as Lee Evans. Nothing.

Jimmy Carr's tax avoidance wasn't particularly amusing.....Lee Evans is / was a brilliant comic actor, but a hopeless standup comedian....I wasted good money on one of his shows a while back!

I’ve got one of these arriving this week
Has rave reviews everywhere, not cheap, black or Fluor.
I will let you know how I get on with it.

My RST one is very similar to that.

Did your jacket arrive Bluebottle? I do like the sound of this set and am holding off ordering top and bottoms.

Sorry Captain,
Yes it arrived. Really well made. Seems much more breathable than the usual plastic bag stuff, no condensation inside but haven’t done a long ride in it yet.

Material is soft slightly stretchy gimp suit stuff - rubbery rather than textile
Seams are welded so they are never going to leak
The zip looked like a weak point in pictures - but it is waterproof type and their is a series of baffles behind it to halt any leaks.
Generous size - fits over armour no problem
Collar comes up a bit high but has a draw cord adjuster to narrow the top

I noticed that too when I was looking around.
I did wonder if they were the same jacket with different branding but there seems to be detail differences. It would be interesting to see them side by side.

Glad to hear there are storm flaps or baffles behind zip. The top does look good too.

So, would you say it is a shell type jacket with no liner or perhaps a simple, inner liner, bonded to the outer? In a premium material?

It is a bonded shell - so it feels like a single layer.

The inner face is a very fine textile so it slips over a jacket easily. The outer face feels rubbery and soft.

It definately feels like a premium material. The carry bag is the same material and I abused that a bit, it didn’t puncture or rip.

It isn’t the Best looking jacket in my collection and has no pockets. It doesn’t restrict movement or flap about like some outer layers do because of the stretch and softness of it.

One thing I wasn’t keen on was the little pocket for the gusset strap - it puts the rolled up/stowed strap where the Burgmans seat back can push on it.
