The only one i have seen made specially for the Kawasaki J300 is the Kawasaki one, made by that German company...but cheaper from Kawasaki!
Tis £80. with the metal bars/bolts/satnag clip in holder..( universal ) so you then have to get the satnag power bit/holder thing to suit ..goes over the screen panel and under the screen. I made a little hole in the screen panel at the side by the fixing screws to put the power feed to the satnag, powered it off the back of the ciggy lighter via a relay so i could also power my heated gloves.

I used one of these for the USB charging. It wired quite easily to the ignition switch.

To the mirror stem Mick. There's a photo on this thread. http://www.maxi-muppets.co.uk/forum/vie ... av#p276087

that's how i do on my Vespa, as its a straight chromed bar, but the mirror stem on this one won't allow it (i think)

Does that not make the screen rattle? I was going to do something similar on mine until I noticed that the metal washer things that go through the screen hole touch the bracket when the bolt is tightened, and so stop the rubber grommet being overcompressed.

Seems OK to me made sure the holes in the brackets are big enough for the metal insert to pass through
Tried single type mountings but always got vibration on Tom Tom making hard to read, rock steady now
Bought the extra mount and drilled it to bolt on with a conduit saddle,
Bar is 20mm old deckchair leg alloy, nylon bar up each end drilled and tapped six mm
Once made now, there is room for an array of tech stuff! Still got to put an extra USB sochet on and leaning towards a flush fit one in the plastic next to the glove box, as this is easily removed to gain access and plenty Of room behind it wired to ignition switch?
