Sometimes for what ever reason we just don't get on with a bike or scooter,
I test rode a Honda NX and after a hour could not wait to get off it, yet
they sell like hot cakes.

No good keeping a bike you don't like
I had a Burgman 400 a 2010 model kept it 4 years so it must have been good.

That sounds a fun trip. Hope the weather is good for it.
I'll be interested to know how much the service sets you back.
Mine is just coming up to the 3k oil change and not put a foot wrong yet. My only tiny complaint is it's a little small for me (I'm 6'3). But then that's my fault!
Do people just use the oil recommended in the manual, or anything else for the second change (first being at 600) as I'll be doing this myself?

Re: New Xmax 300
They are saying about £165 depending if filters need changing, will know for sure after it's done.
Mine as been fine but for a slightly warped front disc that will be changed foc at the service.
I to gave it the 3000 mile oil change I used Mogol 4T that the dealer had on offer and the same
stuff as they use in servicing.

Re: New Xmax 300
255 Miles up to the Scottish borders and back yesterday, blowing a gail and bouncing down till the top of Shap, like being in a off shore powerboat race,
then ok after that till the return when it was blowing a gail bounced down and we were in low cloud from the top of shap to the bottom this time on the A6.
scoot now has 5920 miles up booked for service a week Tues so likely to be a bit over mileage, averaged 50 going up and 42 coming back just over 100 mpg,
good ride despite the WX

Do they still have the radiator top-up at the summit of Shap?
