Have any of you X-max 300 guys changed your standard seat to the comfort seat and if so is it worth it?

Mines still on the standard seat, the 2017 ones had a different seat to the 2018 the comfort seat looks very like the 2018 seat but I have never
sat on one.

New disc as come complete with pads and new bolts going in for fitting a week Thursday tech is going to have a good look see if he can find a reason why it is doing it. On the 125,s were they have had the same it as been found that corrosion was building up behind the disc.

Second new disc fitted techy says that they can find nothing wrong except of course the warped disc,
all seems well will see how this one goes.

My replacement disc is feeling a bit odd now...took it to be checked; they rode it and checked it with a dial gauge; took the caliper off and greased the pins and it's perfectly fine. We agreed to mutually keep an eye on it; there's a year left on the warranty yet so no problem really.
Yes a trusted dealer - Hammonds in Cirencester.

There must be something for it to affect just a few bikes, but it's a case as you say keep a eye on it
I wondered about the wheel being true but that is ok now wondering if the caliper could be a tuch
out of true but plenty of warranty left so it's wait n see.

Had a good look at mine today and all looks well, caliper is free to move as are the pistons,
every thing seems true, only thing I did notice was that the holes as in drilled disc holes
have very sharp edges, being very gentle with it till it beds in, interested in how yours goes on.

and trail bikes, my Xmax 300 was one of 3 entered one of which was in position 1 not bad for
a 300 scooter, any of the other 2 riders on here?

You know, I STILL can't get the front panel off my 300 to get at the battery...
Yes, I'm doing it exactly as per the handbook and YouTube videos;
Yes, I've been working on bikes for 50+ years;
No, there are no hidden screws but the damn thing just Will NOt come away, no matter how hard I heave on it, in whatever direction.
It may have to be the ultimate humiliation of getting the dealer to do it... :-(
