I would say its a compact scooter...
Maxi is more ya weather protected, feet forward-ish, tunnel scoot

Well, its got a 300cc engine, so I think that counts as a Maxi, even if its physically the size and style of a moped!

But my GTS Vespa is not a maxi. I think of maxi's being a long wheelbase, feet forward bike whether it's got a 125 engine (a la Forza) or a 650cc motor. The SH in my book is definitely not a maxi, but a great scoot, almost as good as my GTS!
